About the role
The Global Head of Physiotherapy will lead and unify the physiotherapy, athlete rehab and injury management programmes across the JSW - GMR international cricket franchises. This is a critical leadership position, responsible for setting world-class standards in athlete recovery and performance management across multiple elite leagues and geographies.

• Base location: Delhi, India, plus other league locations
Franchises covered
• Delhi Capitals (Men's IPL)
• Delhi Capitals (Women's WPL)
• Dubai Capitals (ILT20)
• Pretoria Capitals (SA20)
• Other cricket franchises in the GMR and JSW portfolio
Key responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end physiotherapy strategy across all JSW - GMR cricket franchises.
• Ensure maximum player availability during tournaments through elite injury prevention, management and return-to-play protocols.
• Build, mentor and oversee local physiotherapy teams across franchises while maintaining a unified global philosophy.
• Work closely with Head Coaches, Strength and Conditioning staff, Sports Medicine and Team Management.
• Manage high-profile international players and liaise effectively with national teams and boards.
• Establish and enforce global best-practice standards, documentation and reporting.
• Provide hands-on physiotherapy support during key tournaments.
• Act as the final authority on player fitness, load management and medical decision-making.
• Support long-term athlete development and career longevity.
Preferred profile
• A leading global cricket physiotherapist and performance director.
• Experience across international cricket and multiple franchise leagues.
• International exposure and the ability to operate seamlessly across cultures and time zones.

Skills & experience
Mandatory requirements
• Extensive experience and track record as a lead or head physiotherapist managing high-performance physiotherapy teams, alongside athlete rehabilitation and injury prevention.
• Solid experience of the demands of elite international cricket (international teams and/or top-tier franchise leagues) will be advantageous.
• Deep understanding of cricket-specific injury profiles, workloads and tournament demands.
• Experience working in fast-paced, multi-team, multi-country environments.
• Strong leadership presence and credibility with players, coaches and management.
