Job Title: Female Participation Officer

Reporting to:
Senior Manager of Female Participation

Expected Salary:
Competitive based on qualifications and experience

Contract:
Full Time

Hour of Work:
37.5 hours per week. Including evening & weekend
Location: Across Essex & East London, some Homeworking and at The Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, New Writtle Street, Chelmsford, Essex CM2 0PG

Person Specification
Essential Attributes
• Experience in coaching girls
• Level 2/equivalent qualified cricket coach
• DBS Clearance, SYC, First Aid
• Flexible and proactive approach to working
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate people from a wide range of backgrounds
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and keep accurate records
• Passionate about creating opportunities for females to engage in cricket
• Full clean driving license

Desirable Attributes
• Experience coaching women
• Experience in planning, delivering, or supporting community or sports programmes
• Good administrative skills and computer literate (Microsoft Office, Canva, CVENT)
• Sports development experience
• Ability to use marketing apps

Main Duties:
• Delivery of Secondary School Girls projects
• Delivery of Primary School Girls projects
• Delivery of Girls School Competitions
• MCC Foundation Girls Hubs administration
• Support delivery of All Stars and Dynamos Girls activity
• Supporting the Senior Manager of Female Participation
• Delivery on Early Eagles Programme
• Supporting Women’s Programmes
• Delivery to external partners

General Responsibilities
• Work towards aims, objectives and targets of the Essex Cricket in the Community
• Monitor and evaluate all work programmes and produce reports when required
• Plan and deliver high quality sessions
• To work with a range of partners for the development and benefit of cricket within Essex and East London
• Remain flexible in the way and hours of work, utilising your skills to carry out any additional tasks
• Deliver indoor girls leagues/festivals and summer outdoor leagues/festivals
• Delivery of National Programmes Training
• Supporting large ECiC events throughout the year
• Any other tasks as required by Essex Cricket in the Community
