- Accountable to: Food and Beverage Operations Manager
- Salary: 30,000 - 32,000 DOE
- Contract type: Permanent
- Location: Glamorgan County Cricket Club, Sophia Gardens
Glamorgan County Cricket Club is seeking an Assistant F&B Operations Manager, who will play a key role in the day-to-day management of food and beverage services within the C&E department. You will help lead operational teams, ensure service standards are consistently met, and support the successful planning and execution of events of varying size and complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the F&B Operations Manager with the management, delivery and coordination of functions, conferences, events and match days.
- Organising, leading, and motivating the catering team to deliver events at the venue to the highest possible standard.
- Scheduling casual staff, whilst ensuring costs incurred are in line with budgets.
- To train and upskill staff.
- Maintain relationships with concession units, creating and implementing unit plans for events.
- Attend regular briefing meetings with the hospitality and sales teams.
- Ensure that all hospitality and catering areas are kept clean and efficiently organised, including storage areas.
- To continuously check for maintenance issues so high standards are maintained throughout the conference and events operations.
- Managing beverage stock to agreed levels.
- Day-to-day troubleshooting and main point of contact.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Previous experience in a food & beverage supervisory or management role
- Strong operational knowledge of hospitality and events environments
- To possess a good working knowledge of Health & Safety policies & procedures
- Be comfortable with handling confidential information.

- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, varied operation
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays as required
