Description
Gloucestershire County Cricket Club are offering an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports performance analysis, working alongside the Lead Performance Analyst during the 2026 season.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Matchday camera and performance analysis equipment set-up
- Live coding of matches across the Men’s First XI, Men’s Second XI, Women’s First XI, and Pathway
teams (U16s/U18s) - Assisting with pre- and post-match analysis
- Supporting the Lead Analyst with research tasks and Men’s First XI matchdays
- Assisting with training sessions across the club, including filming and data collection
Skills & Experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of cricket
• Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft applications
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
Requirements
• Applicants must be studying towards a degree in a sports-related discipline or a
Statistics/Mathematics degree
• Full and valid driving licence
• ECB coaching qualification (desirable)

Special Conditions
The position will be primarily based at the Seat Unique Stadium; however, the successful applicant will be required to travel on occasion to fulfil the duties of the role. The role will involve working outside of standard office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays, as required to meet operational demands.
