About the Role
The Hamilton Cricket Association (HCA) is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Competitions Administrator to serve as the engine room of our local cricket season.
In this vital operational role, you will ensure our junior, youth, and senior club competitions run seamlessly. - Stakeholder & Operational Support: Act as the primary point of contact for member clubs. Maintain clear, weekly communications with club captains, managers, delegates, and the Umpire Lead regarding updates and changes.
- Administration & Compliance: Monitor registrations, player eligibility, and transfer requests. Maintain records of disciplinary matters and support the Operations Manager with general seasonal admin.

- Strong familiarity with competition management software (e.g., PlayHQ or similar platforms).
- Outstanding communication skills, with an ability to liaise professionally with local councils, umpires, and club representatives.
- Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail and problem-solving abilities (especially under pressure during wet weather updates).
- A passion for community sport and promoting cricket within the region.
