Position Summary: Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd T/A Habari Media is a media powerhouse, whose world-class titles connect brands to targeted audiences.
We are seeking a sports intern to work on the CompleatGolfer.com and SACricketmag.com websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Post newswire and press release stories on the websites
- Source YouTube, X, Facebook and Instagram videos, and embed them in website posts
- Share/schedule website posts on Facebook pages when required
- Post photos, cartoons, graphics etc on social media accounts, when required
Requirements
- A passion for golf and cricket digital and social media
- A good knowledge of golf and cricket, including technical aspects of the game
- Ability to work accurately and professionally under pressure
- Very good English grammar and spelling skills
- A willingness to work outside office hours (including weekends)
- A willingness to learn
- Computer literate
- Proactive and self-disciplined
- A good team player
- A relevant degree or diploma in journalism would be advantageous, but is not required
