Reporting to the Board, you play a key role in shaping and executing the strategic growth of Dutch cricket, managing finances, developing commercial opportunities, and ensuring professional, sound management of the organization.

About the KNCB

The Royal Dutch Cricket Association (KNCB), based in Amstelveen, is the governing body for cricket in the Netherlands, founded in 1883. Its mission is to promote and facilitate the playing cricket, as well as fostering interest in the sport in the broadest sense.

Cricket is the second largest sport in the world and has seen strong growth in the Netherlands over recent years, with participation increasing by 25%. Around 6,000 active players – men, women, youth - currently participate in Dutch cricket via more than 50 cricket clubs, with whom the KNCB maintains close relationships. Cricket is a highly multicultural community, offering a unique opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds and promote an inclusive environment.

The Netherlands ranks among the top 15 cricket nations and is recognized as a high-performing Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The Dutch men’s team has competed in the last three consecutive World Cups, while the women’s team is working to qualify for the upcoming World Cup in England. With cricket on the rise and Dutch teams performing on world stage, the KNCB is looking for a leader who can turn this momentum into lasting impact
