About the Team
The Netherlands Men’s cricket team has achieved historic milestones in recent years, from qualification and participation in the previous 4 ICC World Cups and delivering record breaking wins. With an exciting period ahead, we are now focused on qualifying for the upcoming ODI and T20 World Cups in 2027 and 2028 respectively.
We have built a strong system and culture over the past few years and one which will require leadership and vision to continue and elevate the trajectory of the team both on and off the field through strong strategic planning, player management and development and growth of the players and the system.
The Role
As Head Coach, you will:
- Lead and coach Netherlands Men’s teams (National XI)
- Design and implement progressive training programs throughout the year
- Drive the Men’s pathway program and talent development initiatives
- Deliver individual coaching support and skill sessions to the squad members (National and Academy)
- Prepare and lead teams for international competitions and ICC qualification tournaments
- Lead the Men’s selection panel
- Supervise and mentor assistant coaches in the High Performance pathway
- Collaborate with club coaches to identify and nurture emerging talent
- Provide seasonal performance reports and development plans
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 3 or international equivalent
- Experience: Proven success coaching Men’s / Women’s teams at elite level
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Expertise in talent development and match analysis systems
- Understanding of Associate Member Cricket environment
- Full driver’s license and ability to reside in the Netherlands during the contract
