Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team at Lancashire Cricket Club in Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for keeping stock of paints, matching colours, preparing surfaces and applying paint to agreed areas
• Internal and external painting and decorating
• Ensure the Hotel is maintained to brand standards
• Deliver a program of improvements within a set budget and to an agreed time frame
• Tasks will range from day to day decorating touch-ups to coordinating large painting projects related to the hotel and stadium.
• Willing to carry out and/or assist in basic maintenance tasks not specific to painting and decorating when required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating
• Proven experience in painting and decorating in a similar background
• Trained on high working, including Pasma/Ladder use.
• Ability to work under own initiative in a methodical process as required.
• Experience working across all trades
• Previous experience in working alongside Contractors and others.
• Experience working within a busy FM Maintenance team.
• Experience working with plumbing systems
• Certificates in operating machinery, FLT, IPAF, PASMA, L8
