Job Purpose

Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Hospitality Executive to support the delivery and growth of the Club's hospitality offering.

The role will be responsible for administering hospitality bookings, building strong relationships with clients, supporting hospitality sales activity, and helping to deliver outstanding experiences for guests attending matchdays, conferences, events and corporate functions. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the Commercial, Catering and Cricket Operations teams to ensure a professional and welcoming experience at every interaction.

Key Responsibilities 

Hospitality Sales & Administration

  • Manage hospitality enquiries received by phone, email and online channels.
  • Process hospitality bookings accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records and booking information.
  • Prepare booking confirmations, event information and customer communications.
  • Support hospitality sales campaigns and promotional activity.
  • Assist in generating repeat business and retaining existing hospitality customers.

Customer Relationship Management 

  • Build positive relationships with hospitality clients and guests.
  • Provide excellent customer service before, during and after events.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
  • Seek feedback from clients and identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Help ensure all guests receive a warm and professional welcome.

Matchday Hospitality Delivery 

  • Support the operation of hospitality facilities on matchdays.
  • Act as a point of contact for hospitality guests during events.
  • Assist with guest registrations, seating plans and hospitality requirements.
  • Work closely with catering and operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Help resolve any customer concerns quickly and professionally.

Events & Functions

  • Support the planning and delivery of conferences, meetings, dinners, corporate events and Club functions.
  • Assist with event logistics and room preparations.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors and internal departments where necessary.
  • Help ensure events are delivered to a high standard and within agreed requirements.
  • Support networking evenings, sponsor events and Club functions throughout the year.

Commercial Support

  • Assist with hospitality reporting and sales tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to increase hospitality revenue and guest spend.
  • Support the delivery of Club commercial objectives through excellent customer service.
  • Promote additional hospitality packages, events and Club activities where appropriate.

Collaborative Working

  • Work closely with colleagues across:

  • Support Club-wide initiatives that enhance the reputation and success of LCCC.

Skills & experience

  • Experience in hospitality, events, customer service, sales support or administration.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends during matchdays and events.
  • Professional and confident when engaging with customers and guests.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within a sporting, hospitality, leisure or events environment.
  • Experience managing bookings or event administration.
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations and customer experience.
  • Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management systems.
  • Interest in cricket or the wider sports industry.
