Salary: £23,132

Job Purpose Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) is looking for an enthusiastic Partnership Development Executive to look after and grow the Club's relationships with commercial partners and sponsors.

The role will focus on giving partners a great experience, making sure agreed benefits are delivered, and finding ways to keep relationships strong, support renewals and create new commercial opportunities. The postholder will work closely with the commercial, marketing, events, hospitality and cricket operations teams throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities 

Partnership Management & Retention

• Build strong, positive relationships with key people at partner organisations.

• Make sure all agreed sponsorship benefits are delivered accurately and on time.

• Create clear and practical plans for each sponsor.

• Hold regular catch-ups with partners to review progress, understand their needs and discuss future opportunities.

• Help partners feel valued and well supported through excellent service and communication.

Partnership Activation 

• Coordinate and deliver sponsorship activity, including:

o Matchday branding

o Digital and social media activity

o Hospitality experiences

o Corporate networking events

o Community and cricket development activity

• Work with the Marketing team to give partners good visibility across Club channels.

• Review what worked well and use feedback to improve future partner activity.

Commercial Strategy & Growth

• Spot opportunities to grow existing partnerships through renewals, added benefits and new ideas.

• Work with the commercial leadership to support new partnership opportunities.

• Help prepare partnership proposals, presentations and discussions with current and potential partners.

• Share useful market knowledge and ideas to help shape the Club's partnership approach.

Matchday & Event Delivery 

• Represent the Club with sponsors, partners, and corporate guests on match days and at key Club events.

• Help deliver a high-quality experience for partners, guests, and hospitality attendees.

• Plan and deliver sponsor events, networking events, and business club activity.

• Work with internal teams so events meet partner needs and reflect well on the Club.

Reporting 

• Assist with preparing partnership reports that show progress, value and agreed outcomes.

• Keep partner records, contracts, activity plans and performance information up to date.

Collaborative Working

• Work closely with teams across the Club, including:

o Commercial

o Marketing and Communications

o Hospitality and Events

o Cricket Operations

o Finance

• Help coordinate Club-wide activity that supports partners and promotes LCCC.

• Encourage joined-up working so partner activity is delivered consistently and professionally.

Skills & experience

Person SpecificationEssential Skills & Experience

• Experience in partnerships, sponsorship, account management, relationship management or business development.

• Able to build good relationships and communicate clearly with different people.

• A good understanding of commercial targets, renewals and partnership value.

• Experience planning and delivering sponsor or partner activity.

• Good communication, presentation and reporting skills.

• Well organised and able to manage several tasks at once.

• Confident using Microsoft Office.

• Able to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends for matchdays and Club events.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience in sport, cricket, hospitality, events, or sponsorship.

• Understanding of sponsorship benefits and partner activity.

• Experience supporting hospitality, networking, or partner events.

• Knowledge of cricket or the wider sports industry.

Personal Attributes

• Commercially aware and confident working with a range of people.

• Professional, approachable, and able to represent the Club well.

• Proactive, positive, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
