Role: ASST. MANAGER - GUEST RELATIONS
Location: MCA Sharad Pawar Museum, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
Reports to: Curator/Sr. Manager

Job Description

• Responsible for providing assistance and information to Museum visitors and staff, and processing admissions; school, group and program fees.
• Providing customer service to visitors, monitoring Museum appearance and supporting other Museum departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Front desk: Greets the public, briefly orienting visitors to the Museum
• Processes admissions and any fees for programs, memberships and events. Processes all customer transactions as they occur.
• Outlines Museum activities, provides orientation information about the galleries, and provide directional services (e.g., washroom, lift, merchandise counter, etc.)
• Answers the Museum's phone lines promptly, answer inquiries courteously, and directs
callers to appropriate staff offices and individuals as needed
• Observes individuals entering the Museum entrance and report any irregularities to Facilities
• Responds to emergency needs by monitoring status of facilities and taking steps to reduce or eliminate personal risk to visitors
• Reports all emergency situations to appropriate management staff or authorities
• Oversees the feedback book / interface, on which visitors to the museum can outline their experience
• Is familiar with all tours and tour times offered in the museum
• Performs other related duties as required

Experience and Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with computer systems, especially those pertaining to the scanning of tickets
• Strong communication skills – fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a team player
• Flexibility and ability to adjust to different situations

WORKING HOURS:
10:30 AM TO 7:00 PM, SIX DAYS A WEEK (there could be alterations, depending upon requirements)

REMUNERATION:
₹ 30,000 per month

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
Graduate

EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years

DATE OF JOINING:
IMMEDIATE

Preference will be given to candidates who are former cricketers with experience in the game at the domestic level.
