Location: MCA Sharad Pawar Cricket Museum, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
Report to: Curator / Sr. Manager
Job Description
• Assist the Curator and Manager in the day-to-day running and museum operations
• Conduct museum and stadium tours, as scheduled
• Coordinate with members of the team – guest relations, IT, merchandise to ensure that museum operations run smoothly
• Work closely with the guest relations and merchandise departments and handle the departments, whenever required to do so
• Create content for and manage the museum’s social media handles and website pages
• Attend meetings, seminars and any other activity related to the museum, as per the directions of the curator and senior executive.
• Participate in promotional activities and campaigns related to the museum.
Skills and Interests
• A passion for cricket and cricket history
• Willingness to learn about cricket history – a quick learner
• Excellent communication skills – fluent in Marathi, Hindi and English
• Social-media savvy - experience of cricket content creation on social and digital media
• Willingness to conduct museum and stadium tours
• Flexibility – willingness to handle the merchandise sales and guest relations counters, whenever required
• Open to working with people of diverse backgrounds
• Willingness to work odd hours and on weekends
EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years
REMUNERATION: ₹40,000 per month
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Post-graduate. A degree in Sports Management will be preferred.
WORKING HOURS:10:30 AM TO 7:00 PM, SIX DAYS A WEEK (there could be alterations, depending upon requirements and events)
DATE OF JOINING: IMMEDIATE.
Preference will be given to candidates who are former cricketers with experience in the game at the domestic level.
