Department: Premium Seating

Reporting to: Head of Premium Seating

Contract: Permanent

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
Hours: 09:00hrs to 18:00hrs, Monday to Friday (inclusive), including one-hour unpaid lunch on each day worked. Making a total of 40 working hours per week.

KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE
To support the Head of Premium Seating and Debenture Manager, as well as the wider Premium Seating team, in the administration and sale of MCC’s Debenture Schemes at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Maximising sales through timely responses to enquiries, proactive selling and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITES

  • Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Debenture products.
  • Responding promptly and appropriately to all incoming enquiries
  • Supporting the sale of Debentures products via email and phone calls, while adhering to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Regulations regarding the sale of financial products
  • Assisting in setting up and delivering future Debenture sales in accordance with FCA Regulations
  • Ensuring the CRM system and Debenture Registers are kept up to date at all times with accurate details and account notes for each Debenture Holder, and in compliance with relevant and applicable data protection legislation
  • Supporting the Debenture Manager with the management of key accounts and relationships
  • Assisting the Debenture Manager in maintaining and monitoring all financial aspects of the Debenture Schemes and Debenture Sale
  • Support the Debenture Manager in creating financial reports and liaising with the Finance Department, as required
  • Allocating Major Match tickets as required and assisting with set up at all Major Matches
  • Assisting with Debenture Holder requests on match days
  • Working alongside the Marketing Department; planning and implementing successful sales campaigns
  • Support the Operations team with the delivery of Debenture catering bookings
  • Maintaining an understanding and knowledge of similar products at other sporting venues
  • Supporting the Debenture Manager in the execution of Debenture related events
  • Supporting on an ad-hoc basis with any support required for MCC Hospitality products and their administration.

  • Visiting the Debenture areas and guests throughout the day to greet guests and assist with any queries they may have.
  • Attend all Major Matches, with extended hours as appropriate, including weekends.
  • Any other duties as required whether in the Department or elsewhere around the Ground

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS – SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in proactive outbound sales and business development, ideally within a fast‑paced commercial environment.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, sports, events, or premium sales.
  • Ability to engage and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, adapting communication style as required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to use initiative and contribute new ideas.
  • Excellent IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrably customer‑focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends during the cricket season.
  • High standard of personal presentation and professionalism.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, cricket and the wider sports industry is desirable.
