DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
Normal working hours will be 09:00hrs to 18:00hrs, Monday to Friday (inclusive), including one-hour unpaid lunch on each day worked; making a total of 40 working hours per week.
KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE
To drive revenue growth for MCC’s Hospitality and Premium Seating portfolio through proactive outbound sales, strategic business development, and exceptional client relationship management. The Senior Sales Executive will support the Senior Premium Sales Manager and wider Premium Seating team in shaping the commercial strategy, delivering sales targets, and ensuring the highest standards of service for clients and partners.
KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Proactively sell Hospitality and Premium Seating products via phone, email, in‑person meetings, and networking opportunities, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Responding promptly and appropriately to all incoming enquiries and providing comprehensive administrative support to the team and wider departments.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through structured outbound activity and pipeline development.
- Maximise revenue through effective up‑selling, cross‑selling, and account growth strategies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of all Hospitality and premium Seating products to confidently advise clients and tailor solutions to their needs.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies, campaigns, and promotional activity.
- Work closely with the Hospitality Operations and Marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and campaigns.
- Represent MCC at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions, including evenings and at weekends as required, acting as an ambassador for the Club.
- Ensure accurate and consistent use of the Club’s CRM system, maintaining high‑quality data and reporting.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach
- Attend matchdays to meet guests, strengthen relationships, and support the delivery of premium experiences.

VARIATIONS OF JOB RELATING TO MAJOR MATCHES
- Attend all Major Matches, including weekends and extended hours as required.
- Visit Hospitality venues throughout the day to greet guests, support client hosting, and resolve any queries.
- Undertake any additional duties as required to support matchday operations and enhance the guest experience.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS – SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in proactive outbound sales and business development, ideally within a fast‑paced commercial environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality, sports, events, or premium sales.
- Ability to engage and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, adapting communication style as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to use initiative and contribute new ideas.
- Excellent IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
- Demonstrably customer‑focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM platforms.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends during the cricket season.
- High standard of personal presentation and professionalism.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of, and interest in, cricket and the wider sports industry is desirable.
