Northamptonshire County Cricket Club have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Analyst Intern to join the Club for the 2026 season. The role will engage with Northamptonshire players and coaching staff and will play an important part in supporting the clubs growing performance analysis provisions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will;
• Assist with the set-up, coding and in-game analysis at 1XI, 2XI and Academy home games
• Assist with the pre- and post-match opposition analysis for all formats
• Take ownership of tasks and projects set by the Lead Analyst and Coaches
• Support training where required
Knowledge Skills and Experience
You will need;
• A strong understanding of domestic and international cricket
• IT skills
• Full and clean driving licence with access to a vehicle
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
• Time-management skills
• Growth mindset
Requirements:
You must;
• Be partaking in or with the intention of studying an under or post graduate degree in Sports Performance (or related), Statistics or Mathematics
Desired but not compulsory;
• Practical Skills
• An ECB (or equivalent) coaching qualification
