Northern Districts Cricket is looking for a passionate and driven coach to join our performance and talent team as Female Performance Coach and Talent Program Lead. This fixed term role is a fantastic opportunity for a quality coach to play a key part in helping develop the next generation of White Ferns and supporting our women's and girls' performance pathway.
Reporting to the GM Cricket, you'll work as Assistant Coach within the ND Women's HP program while also leading the coaching and playing programmes for our NDA, U19 and U17 female talent pathways. You'll provide high-quality individual coaching support to identified female athletes in the ND Academy, and work alongside our wider coaching team to help shape performance and talent programs across the region.
What we're looking for
- A relevant coaching qualification suited to leadership in a professional domestic cricket program
- Strong cricket knowledge with a demonstrated ability to coach technical and tactical skills at a performance level
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and emotional intelligence skills
- Strong knowledge of player development processes inclusive of talent identification
- A reflective, growth-focused approach to coaching and leadership
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Northern Districts region and New Zealand
