About NZC

At New Zealand Cricket (NZC), we’re committed to making cricket a game for all – a game for life. Our vision is to break down barriers so cricket can be played anywhere, by anyone. We’re proud of our high-performance culture, driven by great people, strong systems, and world-class facilities. Together, we aim to inspire the nation and the next generation of players, while reflecting the best of New Zealand’s values.

The Opportunity

We’re on the lookout for a Junior Digital Content Creator to join our Digital Content team for the 2025/26 New Zealand Summer of Cricket (October to April). This fixed-term role is perfect for someone early in their career or finishing up their studies, looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.

You’ll help bring our summer of cricket to life across NZC’s digital platforms – with a special focus on TikTok, domestic cricket, and the Dream11 Super Smash. You’ll be part of a passionate team, creating and sharing engaging content that connects fans to the game.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and curating content across NZC’s digital platforms, ensuring it reflects our values and vision.
  • Leading the TikTok content strategy and managing the NZC TikTok account.
  • Creating and publishing original content, especially around domestic competitions and the Dream11 Super Smash (December–February).
  • Collaborating with NZC’s Communications and Content team, as well as our contracted creatives, to produce high-quality digital assets.
  • Publishing content from internal and external sources in line with NZC’s content plans.
  • Working with stakeholders and partners to design and deliver content strategies.
  • Supporting the wider cricket network, including Major Associations, District Associations, and Clubs.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience creating short-form content for social media, especially TikTok.
  • A solid understanding of social media platforms and current trends.
  • Skills in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro or similar) and graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator or similar).
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in editing and publishing content.
  • Enthusiasm for cricket and sport, and a collaborative mindset.

This role may involve working outside regular hours, especially during match days – but it’s a fantastic chance to grow your skills, build your portfolio, and be part of something special.

Applications close 8 September 2025. Please include a cover letter with your application.
