Oxfordshire Cricket are delighted to invite outstanding candidates to apply for the role of Physical Performance Coach within the Boys Emerging Players Programme (Boys EPP). This is a pivotal role to support our mission to make cricket “open for all’, with the successful candidate contributing to the delivery of a sustainable, high-performing talent development system.

The Role at a Glance

The Boys EPP Physical Performance Coach will work alongside the Performance Director and wider coaching team to deliver the Boys EPP and achieve key strategic targets. The focus will be to lead the physical development, performance, and injury prevention strategies to maximise physical performance, player availability and growth. This role is pivotal in accelerating player progression and player production with the aim to transition high-potential players from the Boys EPP into professional county academies and beyond.

  • Salary: £25.50 per hour (coaching) and £142.50 per day (match day rate).
  • Position Type: Casual (commencing 30th April 2026)
  • Engagement Period: 1st November to 31st October annually, aligning to the Boys EPP annual programme cycle.
  • Location: Magdalen College School, Oxford (venue of the Boys EPP)
  • Reporting to: Performance Director
