Oxfordshire Cricket are delighted to invite outstanding candidates to apply for the role of Women’s Physical Performance Coach. This is a pivotal role to support our mission to make cricket “open for all’, with the successful candidate contributing to the delivery of a sustainable, high-performing talent development system.

The Role at a Glance

The Women’s Physical Performance Coach will work alongside the Head Coach, wider coaching and support staff, and Performance Director to deliver the Women’s representative programme and achieve key strategic targets. The focus will be to lead the physical development, performance, and injury prevention strategies to maximise physical performance, player availability and growth. This role is pivotal in accelerating player development and delivering success within the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Tier 3 and County Cup competitions.

  • Remuneration: £22.46 per hour (coaching) and £125.51 per day (match day rate), excluding holiday pay.
  • Position Type: Casual
  • Engagement Period: Work assignments occur between 1st January to 30th September annually, aligning with the preparation and competition phase of the women’s annual programme cycle.
  • Location: Within and outside of Oxfordshire (travel required)
  • Reporting to: Performance Director
