Media Monitoring Officer
The Media Monitoring Officer will be responsible for monitoring television channels, news tickers, and other relevant media content on a rotational shift basis, preparing accurate summaries, and producing concise, well-structured reports to support organizational decision-making.
ABOUT PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is responsible for promoting and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan while maintaining overall control and governance of the sport in the country.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum Intermediate qualification required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in media monitoring, particularly television monitoring, will be considered an advantage.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Urdu and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and summarization skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prepare logical, concise, and well-structured reports.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple monitoring assignments simultaneously.
• Willingness and ability to work in a 24/7 rotational three-shift environment, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good Urdu typing skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor and review television programs, news tickers and other relevant media content. • Summarize key developments, stories, and issues in a clear and concise manner.
• Accurately type and transcribe Urdu content from television broadcasts and news tickers.
• Prepare timely and accurate media monitoring reports.
• Stay updated on current affairs, media trends, and developments relevant to PCB.
• Maintain organized records and archives of monitored content for future reference.
• Perform media monitoring duties on a rotational shift basis to ensure round-the-clock coverage.
• Ensure timely handover of monitoring updates and reports between shifts.
Please Note: This position requires working in a 24/7 rotational three-shift environment. Candidates must be willing to work day, evening, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts as assigned.
