Key responsibilities :

1.Help develop players’ technical skills (batting, bowling, fielding, wicket-keeping).

-Support the head coach in creating individual development plans (IDPs).

-Provide age-appropriate feedback focused on growth, confidence, and fundamentals.

-Assist in identifying talent and monitoring progress through the season.

  1. Training and Session Planning

-Help plan and run practice sessions according to the head coach’s objectives.

-Set up drills, stations, nets, and fielding routines.

-Ensure training is structured, engaging, and safe for teens.

-Keep sessions in line with association guidelines (e.g., workload management for fast bowlers).

  1. Match Preparation & Support

-Assist with selecting playing XIs (if assigned).

-Help with warm-ups, stretching, game plans, and tactical preparation.

-Support players during matches with encouragement, tactical reminders, and instructions.

-Record performance notes/statistics if required.

  1. Safety & Welfare

-Maintain a safe training environment.

-Follow youth-protection policies (no inappropriate contact, ensure supervision, etc.).

-Monitor player workload, hydration, and injury concerns.

-Help manage concussion protocols or refer players to medical staff when needed.

  1. Communication

-Communicate clearly with the head coach, players, and association staff.

-Provide constructive, respectful feedback to players.

  1. Administrative Support

-Assist with equipment management (balls, cones, kits).

-Help maintain attendance records.

-Support coordination of travel, fixtures, or tournaments if assigned.

-Submit reports to the head coach or association as needed.

  1. Culture & Team Environment

-Model sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.

-Help build a positive, inclusive environment for all U19 participants.

-Encourage good habits: punctuality, respect, work ethic, and fair play.
