ABOUT
Qatar Cricket Association is the official governing body for cricket in Qatar, formed in 1980 and affiliated with the International Cricket Council as an associate member since 2000.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and conduct structured batting practice sessions.
- Teach proper batting techniques, footwork, and shot selection.
- Analyze players' performance and provide individual feedback.
- Develop personalized training programs based on skill levels.
- Improve players' consistency, confidence, and match awareness.
- Prepare players for matches, and tournaments.
- Use video analysis and modern coaching methods when needed.
- Ensure a safe, disciplined, and positive training environment.
- Collaborate with other coaches and support staff.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Level 2 / Level 3 coaching accreditation (ICC/PCB/ECB/BCCI/CSA or equivalent).
- 5+ years of coaching experience in professional cricket.
- International coaching experience will be anstrong advantage.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of batting techniques.
- Ability to assess player performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Leadership and team management ability.
- Strong understanding of match situations and game strategies.
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and build player confidence.
- Patience and adaptability when working with different skill levels.
- Familiarity with video analysis and modern coaching tools.
- Time management and session planning skills.
- Passion for cricket and player development.
