Queensland Cricket is gearing up for another big season and we’re looking for enthusiastic Community Cricket Officers to join our casual field team across Southeast Queensland and regional locations.
This is more than just running cricket sessions. You’ll help create positive experiences for kids aged 5–12, building confidence, connection, and a genuine love for the game through fun and engaging school and club programs.

What you’ll do
- Deliver engaging and inclusive cricket programs across schools and clubs
- Create safe, energetic, and supportive environments where kids feel confident and excited to participate
- Build strong relationships with schools, clubs, and local communities to grow participation across the region
- Most importantly, create fun and memorable cricket experiences that keep kids wanting to come back
About you
- Confident engaging with kids, schools, and community groups
- Naturally great at building rapport and making sessions fun and inclusive
- Reliable, organised, and proactive with a positive, team-first attitude
- Friendly, approachable, and passionate about creating positive community experiences
This role could be a great fit if you:
- Love sport, staying active, and working in team environments
- Have played, coached, volunteered, or been involved in sport or community programs
- Are studying or interested in education, sport, coaching, health, or youth-focused work
- Are looking for flexible and meaningful work where you can make a genuine impact
Requirements:
- A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one — we can help with the process)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
