Queensland Cricket is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to support our Female Pathway Program, working closely with talented young players (U16–U19) as they progress through critical stages of their development.
You’ll play a hands-on role in injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, helping our players stay healthy, confident, and ready to perform. You’ll also be part of a supportive, high-calibre multidisciplinary team that genuinely cares about our people and the athlete experience.
About the Role
- Provide physiotherapy coverage and player care at games, training sessions, and tournaments
- Lead injury assessments and design individualised prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs
- Offer timely advice, triage, and referral to medical practitioners as required
- Collaborate closely with coaches, team staff, and performance professionals to enhance player wellbeing and readiness
- Contribute to an environment that supports learning, growth, and player confidence both on and off the field
About you
- Current AHPRA registration and relevant physiotherapy qualification
- Solid clinical experience, ideally within a sporting or high-performance environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with players, coaches, and staff
- A caring and professional approach, with a passion for supporting young athletes
- Critical thinking, adaptability, and sound time management
- Energised by being part of a close-knit, collaborative team and open to travel during tournaments or competition periods
- Enjoys the travel and tournament environment, bringing energy and calm under pressure
