Connecting students with real career pathways

Queensland Cricket is looking for an Education Partnerships Manager to help grow participation in our education and workforce development programs by building strong connections with schools, students, industry partners and community networks. The Education Partnerships Manager will be responsible for growing Queensland Cricket's TAFE Queensland education programs with a focus on student recruitment and experience.

This role plays a key role in connecting students with learning opportunities and future career pathways and supports QC's revenue diversification and workforce recruitment strategies. Working closely with schools, career advisors, education providers (including TAFE), industry partners and community organisations, you will help ensure students are aware of and able to access programs that support their future careers.

This is a highly relationship-focused and commercially driven role suited to someone who enjoys engaging with students, building trusted partnerships and promoting meaningful education pathways, a love for cricket is an added bonus. The Education Partnerships Manager can have a lasting impact on cricket in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and inspire future students through school visits, information sessions, career expos and community events, promoting education pathways and program opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships with schools, career advisors, education providers (including TAFE), industry partners and community organisations to expand awareness and participation in programs.
  • Drive student recruitment and program participation by actively promoting programs, identifying opportunities for engagement and supporting prospective students through their decision-making journey.
  • Deliver exceptional student and partner experiences, ensuring every interaction is informative, supportive and reflective of the organisation's commitment to quality education pathways.
  • Represent the organisation as a trusted ambassador within schools, industry networks and community environments, strengthening the visibility and credibility of our programs.
  • Identify growth opportunities that support revenue diversification, contributing to strategies that expand program reach, enrolments and long-term partnerships.

About You

You have experience in exceeding commercial targets and are someone who enjoys working with people and is passionate about helping students discover opportunities for their future.

You bring a mix of:

  • Experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, recruitment or education outreach
  • Confidence presenting to groups and engaging with students and school communities
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Sales, business development, or revenue generation experience
  • A proactive approach to building networks and identifying opportunities
  • An interest in education, training, career pathways and workforce development
