Partnerships Account Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Partnerships Account Manager to join our Commercial team at Queensland Cricket reporting directly to the Head of Commercial.

Our partnerships don’t sit on the sidelines. They show up on match day, in the community, and across every experience we deliver.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of key relationships, deliver consistently, and spot where more is possible.

About the Role

You’ll manage a portfolio of commercial partners, ensuring every partnership is delivered to a high standard while identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow each account.

This is equal parts relationship, commercial thinking and delivery.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own your partner portfolio
    Build strong, trusted relationships and become the go-to for your partners
  • Drive retention and growth
    Lead renewals and identify opportunities to expand partnership value
  • Plan and execute activations
    Bring partnerships to life across match-day, digital, signage, apparel and community initiatives
  • Lead commercial conversations
    Manage pricing, renewals and evolving partnership scope
  • Coordinate delivery
    Work across internal teams to ensure what’s sold is delivered as agreed
  • Track performance
    Lead WIPs, provide updates and keep a clear line of sight on outcomes
  • Represent the partner internally
    Bring insights and feedback into the business to improve how we deliver

What you’ll bring

  • A strong track record in building trusted, commercially valuable relationships
  • The ability to understand a partner’s business, priorities and pressure points, then translate that insight into meaningful opportunities
  • Strong commercial acumen, with confidence leading renewal, growth and value-based conversations
  • A forward-thinking approach to account management, always looking for ways to strengthen the relationship and expand the partnership over time
  • The confidence to influence, negotiate and hold commercial conversations with credibility
  • A sharp understanding of how to balance partner experience with sustainable business outcomes
  • The ability to connect the dots across people, assets, campaigns and commercial opportunities
  • Strong internal stakeholder management, with the ability to bring teams together to deliver on commitments
  • Clear communication, sound judgement and a proactive approach to solving problems before they become issues
  • The drive to own your portfolio, protect revenue, grow accounts and deliver work that partners value
