This is a pivotal role within the state’s cricket pathway, working closely with Premier Clubs, volunteers and internal stakeholders to ensure the competition continues to thrive.

If you are passionate about community sport, comfortable working in complex stakeholder environments and motivated by making a real impact, this is a role where you can contribute meaningfully to the future of the game.

The opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager - Elite Cricket, you will lead the effective delivery and ongoing improvement of Queensland’s Premier Cricket competitions.

Your focus will include:

  • Partnering with Premier Clubs to strengthen capability and sustainability
  • Ensuring strong governance, integrity and competition standards
  • Enhancing the overall club and participant experience
  • Supporting alignment with Queensland Cricket’s broader pathway strategy
  • Managing seasonal planning, projects and key stakeholder forums
  • Oversee the commercial growth of the T20 Max Competition.

This role requires someone who can balance strategy with strong relationship building and practical delivery.

About you

You are relationship-focused, organised and comfortable working across both operational and stakeholder priorities.

You will bring:

  • Experience in sports administration, competition management or community sport
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capability, particularly in volunteer environments
  • Sound understanding of governance, integrity and compliance in sport
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
  • Confidence navigating competing priorities
  • A genuine passion for cricket and community sport

Experience working within Premier or high-performance pathways will be well regarded.

Why join Queensland Cricket

You will be joining a team committed to growing the game and supporting clubs and communities across the state.

Queensland Cricket offers:

  • A collaborative and supportive team environment
  • The opportunity to shape Premier Cricket across Queensland
  • Access to cricket and major event experiences
  • A workplace that values connection, care and capability
