Rylands Cricket Club (RCC), established in 1998, is a proud community-based club in the heart of Rylands. We currently field four senior teams and have a growing and vibrant junior structure.

The club is entering an important rebuilding phase. Our focus is not only on returning to the Premier League, but on building a sustainable, competitive squad that can remain and thrive at that level.

We are seeking a committed and experienced Head Coach to lead this journey.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a coach who:

• Holds at least a Level 2 coaching certification (or equivalent experience)

• Has proven experience coaching senior and/or high-performance teams

• Understands team rebuilding and player development pathways

• Can identify, recruit, and attract players aligned to the club’s vision

• Is passionate about developing younger players into senior cricket

• Can balance being firm and disciplined

• Values and actively contributes to a positive, inclusive club culture

• Is willing to be present beyond match days – including training, club events, and community engagement

• Focuses on mental, tactical, and technical development

• Understands the importance of accountability and structured progress reviews (including a mid-season review)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement a clear playing philosophy and culture

• Assist with player recruitment and retention

• Drive training standards and match preparation

• Work closely with the executive and captains

• Provide regular feedback and participate in a mid-season performance review
