About the role

SACA is looking for an experienced Content Producer to join our Marketing and Communications team. You will write and produce engaging content such as match reports, long-form stories, media releases, social posts, phone content/footage and internal and external communications. This role will work across both the women’s and men’s programs and manage content in relation to the South Australian Cricket Teams, Adelaide Strikers and support whole of business success through content production and support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain SACA and Adelaide Strikers websites and social media accounts, ensuring consistent brand voice and timely content delivery.
  • Plan, create, schedule, and report on engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok), including live match coverage and post-match reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, commercial partners, and Cricket Australia to produce high-quality, audience-focused content.
  • Support internal communications and assist with branded and sponsored content.
  • Monitor trends, breaking news, and match day incidents; provide insights and performance reporting.
  • Contribute to content strategy and production, including photography and video, with occasional interstate travel and match day availability.
  • Assist the Communications, PR & Media Manager and perform other duties as required.

Please be mindful that you will need to be available to work international, W/BBL, and domestic match days as required. Interstate travel may be required with the SA Teams to deliver real-time updates and act as the media and broadcast point of contact on match days.

Capability and Experience

This role requires you to be experienced in social media strategy, analytics, and CMS platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok), with a solid understanding of audience engagement and market trends. You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and a Working with Children Check, and bring a knowledge of cricket, Australian sports, and SACA operations, with proven experience in sports media. You will need to be collaborative and customer-focused, with a passion for sport and delivering measurable outcomes. Photography and video production skills are a bonus!

The SACA is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be Australia’s favorite sport – a sport for all Australian’s.
