Sri Lanka Cricket invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Batting Coach – Senior Men’s Programme.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct batting training sessions for the Senior Men’s National Team and other assigned squads
- Develop individual batting programs to enhance player performance across all formats of the game
- Provide technical, tactical, and mental skills support to batters
- Analyze player performances using video analysis and performance data
- Work closely with the Head Coach, support staff, selectors, and High Performance Centre to ensure alignment with team strategies and objectives
- Assist in match preparation, opposition analysis, and in-game tactical planning
- Monitor player fitness, workload, and skill progression in collaboration with relevant support staff
- Maintain professional standards, discipline, and team culture at all times
- Prepare performance reports and recommendations for management
Qualifications & Experience

- ICC Level 3 Coaching Qualification or an equivalent internationally recognized coaching certification

- Proven experience working as a batting coach at international, first-class, franchise, or elite domestic level

- Strong technical and tactical understanding of modern batting across formats

- Experience in player development and performance analysis systems

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and travel extensively with the team
- Prior experience working with national teams or high-performance environments will be an added advantage
