Sri Lanka Cricket invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following positions.
- Coach Educator – Super Province
- Coach Educator – Province
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and facilitate coach education programmes and workshops in accordance with the Sri Lanka Cricket Coach Development Framework
- Support the development and accreditation of coaches at various levels
- Mentor and guide coaches to enhance their technical, tactical and professional competencies
- Assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of coach education initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and reports relating to coach education activities
- Work closely with Sri Lanka Cricket and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of coach development programmes
- Promote best practices and uphold the values and standards of Sri Lanka Cricket
Key Position Requirements
- Level 3 Coaching Qualification or equivalent – Super Province
- Level 2 Coaching Qualification – Province
- Experience working with coaches and athletes, either in an educational or performance sporting environment
- Sound knowledge of modern coaching methodologies
- Demonstrable coaching experience with individuals and teams
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, organise and deliver educational programmes effectively
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency in computer applications and report writing will be an added advantage
