The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate, driven, and community-minded Head Coach to lead our cricket program. This role is ideal for a coach who values player development, strong team culture and structured high-quality training environments.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Player Development

• Design and deliver structured, engaging and progressive training sessions

• Focus on individual and team development pathways

• Instil strong fundamentals, discipline and game awareness

Team Culture & Leadership

• Build and maintain a positive, high-performance team culture

• Cultivate leadership within the playing group

• Mentor players on and off the field

Matchday Oversight

• Take full responsibility for matchday preparation and execution

• Support captain with tactical input and decision-making

• Ensure professional standards and readiness on match days

Reporting & Administration

• Submit Monthly reports to the club committee (performance, attendance, key insights)

• Contribute to selection discussions and season planning

Minimum Requirements

• Cricket South Africa Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent)

• Proven club coaching experience

• Strong understanding of player development systems

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Passion for community cricket and youth development
