Are you an organised, proactive individual who’s passionate about community sport? Join our vibrant cricket club as a Club Administrator, where you'll play a vital role in supporting players, members, and our Director of Cricket .

About the Role

This is a diverse and rewarding position, perfect for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys working with people. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the club, including finances, communications, events, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Club Revenue & Sponsorship

  • Assist Director of Cricket manage member registrations via PlayHQ
  • Oversee fee and subscription collections
  • Maintain a calendar of grant applications, arrange quotes, and submit applications
  • Assist Director of Cricket to seek new sponsorships and manage existing agreements
  • Build and maintain relationships with grant organisations

2. Liaison with Auckland Cricket Association (ACA)

  • Assist Director of Cricket with ACA partnership
  • Be point of contact on Saturday match days
  • Ensure all administrative and reporting obligations are fulfilled

3. Junior Cricket Support

  • Provide admin assistance to the Director of Cricket

4. Communications, Social & Fundraising

  • Assist with maintaining the club’s website and social media (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Organise club events such as Cricketer of the Year Dinner, Prize-givings, and Club Fundraisers
  • Support both Junior and Senior Committees with fundraising and social events

5. Clubrooms & Facilities

  • Oversee service providers including bar staff, cleaners, and groundskeepers
  • Manage bar operations, including staffing and stock management
  • Manage Clubrooms & Indoor Centre bookings

6. General Administration

  • Manage club email inbox and member database

About You

  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Confident using digital platforms (PlayHQ, social media, email marketing tools)
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Prior experience in a similar role or within a community sports club is a bonus.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate
  • Flexible, part-time working hours that could fit around family or other work commitments. Availability on Saturdays for match days is preferred.
  • Fixed Contract of 20-25 hours a week in season, September - April
  • Involvement in a passionate, fun-loving community of players and volunteers
