Trent College is seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Cricket to lead, develop and deliver an ambitious and inclusive cricket programme across the whole school, including The Elms (Junior School).

This role would suit either an experienced and qualified coach or a qualified teacher with a proven track record in cricket.

Cricket is a core performance sport for boys at Trent College and an increasingly important and developing sport for girls. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and visionary leader to drive excellence in boys’ cricket while playing a central role in the continued growth, profile and participation of girls’ cricket.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding cricket coach with a clear vision for whole-school cricket
  • Have the ability to lead and inspire pupils, staff and coaches
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills
  • Be committed to both high-performance outcomes and inclusive participation
  • Understand the demands of cricket within a busy independent day and boarding school

This role represents a significant leadership opportunity within a thriving sports department and offers the chance to shape the future direction of cricket at Trent College.
