Management Accountant

The Role

We are seeking a qualified or part-qualified Management Accountant to support the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide accurate, insightful financial reporting for Utilita Bowl. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across finance operations in a dynamic sports and events environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including income & expenditure statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments
• Support operational finance activities including accounts payable, payroll exposure and commercial invoicing
• Produce management reporting packs and provide financial insight to Heads of Department
• Assist with audit processes and provide ad hoc support across the wider finance function

Hours: Permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with flexible working hours available.

Salary: £28,000 per annum + study support + benefits 

Location: Based at Utilita Bowl, with some work across the Hilton Southampton site.
