Do you have a passion for cricket, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in delivering top‑quality playing surfaces? We’re looking for a dedicated Cricket Grounds Person to help prepare and maintain our cricket facilities to the highest standard.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and presentation of cricket pitches, outfields, and surrounding grounds. This includes wicket preparation, mowing, rolling, irrigation, and ensuring safe, professional surfaces for training and match days. You’ll work closely with our team to deliver exceptional playing conditions throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain cricket pitches, practice wickets, and outfields
Operate turf equipment including mowers, rollers, and line markers
Monitor turf health and assist with renovations and irrigation
Ensure grounds are safe, clean, and match‑ready
What We’re Looking For
Experience in turf or grounds maintenance
A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
Someone reliable, hands‑on, and comfortable working outdoors
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and match schedules when needed
