WA Cricket is on the lookout for enthusiastic and energetic casual Community Cricket Officers to join our dynamic Community Cricket team and help grow the game across regional Western Australia.
We currently have an exciting casual opportunity available in the Broome region.
As a casual Community Cricket Officer, you'll play a key role in inspiring the next generation of cricketers by:
- Delivering engaging school cricket programs that create positive experiences and encourage ongoing participation in cricket.
- Running fun and inclusive cricket clinics and activities, helping students discover pathways into local cricket clubs and competitions.
- Supporting and training School Ambassadors and program leaders, empowering teachers to continue promoting cricket within their schools.
- Coordinating exciting Woolworths Cricket Blast School Cups and other participation events for local primary schools.
- Identifying new opportunities to connect with schools and communities and grow participation in cricket programs across the region.
We're looking for someone who:
- Loves working with children and creating memorable experiences.
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Can work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
- Is highly organised, reliable and pays attention to detail.
- Brings enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for community sport.
- Holds a current WA Driver's Licence and has access to reliable transport.
- Has a valid Working with Children Check card
