This is your chance to sit at the intersection of all three. WA Cricket is on the lookout for a Commercial Sales Executive to drive and grow our premium hospitality, WA Cricket Business X1, and functions & events portfolio.
This role will see you manage and grow key client accounts, deliver best-in-class hospitality experiences, and drive ongoing revenue performance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Own and grow the Perth Scorchers premium hospitality program, delivering annual retention and acquisition targets through high-impact client engagement and sales execution.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with corporate clients, strengthening loyalty while actively developing new business opportunities.
- Design, refine and deliver a premium sales and service experience that consistently exceeds client expectations.
- Proactively generate and convert leads to grow the WA Cricket functions and events portfolio, with a strong focus on cross-selling premium products.
- Leverage your network to introduce clients to the new WACA Ground facilities and unlock new commercial opportunities.
- Drive growth of the Business X1 premium membership, delivering compelling member events that enhance value and drive acquisition.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships, including Optus Stadium and major suppliers, to ensure premium service delivery within budget.
A great fit for this role looks like
- At least five years’ experience in a sports promotion or customer service focused role
- Demonstrated ability and experience in relationship selling at all levels
- Demonstrated ability and experience in sales and growth of a product
- Proven experience using membership database
- Excellent time management skills, multi-tasking, ability to work deadlines and maintain a flexible approach
- Proven ability to work under pressure and think outside the box
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Ability to manage difficult situations
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Sound ability in the use of PC based software applications
- Experience with Archtics software (desirable)
