WA Cricket is on the lookout for a vibrant, customer focused Reception & Customer Experience Officer to be the friendly face and voice of our organisation. From welcoming visitors to supporting events, retail and tours, you’ll help deliver memorable experiences at one of WA’s most iconic sporting venues.
This is far more than your typical reception position. You’ll be at the centre of the action, connecting people, solving problems, and ensuring every interaction reflects our passion for cricket and commitment to exceptional service.
How you’ll make an impact
- Be the welcoming first point of contact for all visitors to WA Cricket and the WACA Ground
- Deliver professional, friendly and customer-focused service at all times
- Direct visitors, members and stakeholders to appropriate locations and contacts
- Manage phone, email, website and social media enquiries promptly and accurately
- Respond to customer feedback and complaints with empathy and a solutions-focused approach
- Track and report on enquiries and identify opportunities to improve customer experience
- Process retail sales and tour bookings, ensuring accurate transactions and reconciliations
- Provide information on merchandise, tours, events and visitor experiences
- Support Food & Beverage enquiries, bookings, CRM updates and invoicing processes
- Provide administrative support across WA Cricket, including the Perth Scorchers Institute and recruitment enquiries
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in reception, customer service or administration, you know how to keep things running smoothly and people feeling welcomed
- A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Passionate about customer service and building strong, positive relationships with a wide range of people
- Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail, nothing slips past you
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle competing priorities with ease
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems to stay on top of tasks and data
- Trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive or confidential information
- Proactive and adaptable, you take initiative and embrace change
- A natural team player who contributes positively to team culture
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude and energy to everything you do
