Warwickshire County Cricket Club is seeking a Chair for its Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG).

Established in 2022, the IAG provides an independent voice and acts as a critical friend to the Club, bringing community insight, challenge and diverse perspectives to support the Club's commitment to equality, inclusion and belonging. As the Club continues to build on its commitment to inclusion, recognised through its 2026 Birmingham Best Place to Work Award for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and its ECB’s Best in Class status, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next stage of that journey.

The Role

The Chair will lead a diverse group of independent members and help strengthen the relationship between Edgbaston, Warwickshire cricket and the communities of Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.

The successful candidate will have experience of working at a strategic, leadership or governance level and be confident facilitating constructive discussion and providing challenge. Knowledge of inclusion, community engagement or the sporting environment would be valuable.

Remuneration: This is a voluntary, unpaid appointment

Time commitment: The IAG meets three times per year either in-person or online. The Chair will also need to commit time to meeting preparation. Estimated annual time commitment is 15-20 hours.

Term of appointment: The appointment is initially for 12 months, subject to annual review, with a maximum term of three consecutive years unless exceptional circumstances apply.
