The Opportunity

As we build up for an exciting 2026 season, Yorkshire County Cricket Club are looking to recruit a number of Dressing Room Attendants to help our Cricket department throughout the season. The Cricket department play a pivotal role in assisting the professional teams which are based out of Headingley Cricket Ground throughout the season. The Cricket department is a unique department where no day is the same as the other. This role is to support the team on build up to match days, training days and match days themselves.

This role will be a fixed term position throughout the season and will based at Headingley Cricket Ground.

What this role include:

  • Supporting the Cricket Operations team with the preparation and maintenance of the players & match official facilities during the season
  • Help ensure the dressings rooms are kept clean, tidy and presentable all season round
  • Assist the players, coaches and umpires with anything they may need
  • Support the Cricket Operations team with matchday delivery and assist wherever required
  • Being proactive to ensure the smooth delivery of cricket at Headingley Cricket Ground

This role is scheduled to commence at the end of March 2026.

About You

  • Proven track record of being trustworthy, reliable and conscientiousness
  • Demonstrable team player who thrives when working alongside others towards a common goal
  • Ready to ownership & be accountable for ensuring all player & match official areas are maintained to the highest standards
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the sensitivity of player & match official areas & the importance of measures implemented to protect these areas
  • Happy to work independently when required
  • Willingness to undertake physical work to maintain the facilities, including cleaning of the dressing rooms
  • Being willing to work evening and weekend hours
