Jordan Cox and Phoebe Litchfield have been named August’s PCA Players of the Month, completing a clean sweep of accolades after standout performances in The Hundred.
The pair had already earned The Hundred MVP awards and were captains of the August PCA MVP Teams of the Month. Their latest recognition comes after topping the PCA Most Valuable Player Rankings and winning a public vote that decided the monthly award via a 50:50 split with the MVP algorithm.
Cox dominates men’s competition with leading runs and MVP points
Jordan Cox, star of the Oval Invincibles, racked up 159.89 MVP points and claimed 32.57% of the public vote, finishing ahead of Tom Westley, Nick Gubbins, and Liam Livingstone.
Cox was instrumental in securing a historic third consecutive title for Oval Invincibles. He was the leading run-scorer in The Hundred with 367 runs at an average of 61.16 and an impressive strike rate of 173.93.
He earned two Match MVPs during August:
- 86* off 29 balls vs Welsh Fire – 43.71 points
- 58 off 32 balls vs Trent Rockets – 30.46 points
These performances also led to his recall to the England IT20 squad for the upcoming series against Ireland.

Litchfield leads women’s MVP charts with title-winning form
Phoebe Litchfield was just as dominant in the women’s competition, finishing with 124.23 MVP points and 42.17% of the public vote, ahead of Nat Sciver-Brunt, Annabel Sutherland, and Sophia Dunkley.
The Northern Superchargers batter powered her side to their first Hundred title, finishing as the competition’s top scorer with 292 runs at an average of 41.71.
Her two Match MVPs came from match-winning knocks:
- 59* vs Birmingham Phoenix at Headingley – 30.29 points
- 55* vs London Spirit – 27.36 points
“It’s pretty cool to win this award,” said Litchfield. “The Hundred has been one of the best months of my career. The team environment at Superchargers is amazing and to finally win the competition made it extra special. I just loved every moment on and off the field.”
