JOB TITLE: Sales Executive
REPORTS TO: Membership and Ticketing Manager, Chief Commercial Officer
CONTRACT: Full time
SALARY: £25,000 per annum plus bonus
BASED AT: The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury (with occasional travel)
Summary of Role:
The successful candidate will work in the Commercial department to drive group and premium seating sales across fixtures at Kent Cricket venues. There will be a focus on Vitality Blast and international fixtures, aligning with the broader Club goal of boosting sales and attendance at these fixtures.
Other Details:
Normal working hours will be 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (inclusive), including one hour unpaid lunch on each day worked. The post holder will be based at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence but travel to The County Ground, Beckenham may be required to assist on match days. Due to the nature of the work, the post holder will carry out his/her/their duties as such times/days which are most effective to perform the tasks required. This may involve some out of hours work – evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, as necessary.

Kent Cricket is one of only 18 first-class county cricket clubs in England and Wales. From our headquarters at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence in Canterbury, and with a satellite ground at The County Ground, Beckenham, we are responsible for the growth and development of all cricket across Kent and our four London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham – from community and schools’ cricket to the professional game.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Being the main point of contact for incoming group and premium seating enquiries
• Proactively driving the sales of group packages via outbound marketing activity – tickets and hospitality packages
• Prepare sales and performance information and reports
• Developing an in-depth understanding of group packages and premium seating products
• Research and analyse B2B and B2C sales opportunities
• Build and maintain professional networks
• Ensure that the administration of matchday group bookings is undertaken accurately and ensure that customers are welcomed and enjoy their experience during each home match
• Supporting commercial administration duties
• Working with the marketing, events and commercial teams to develop sales plans and assist on marketing campaigns

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:
• Educated to A-Level or equivalent level
• Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
• Sales experience preferred, but not essential
• Clear communication skills and a strong command of the English language (Fluency in English, written and spoken)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team and to contribute to the overall success of the Club.
• Multitasking skills and good organisational abilities
• A desire to deliver first-class customer service
• An ability to build strong working relationships
