The KFC T20 Max has gone international. Queensland Cricket has announced a new broadcast partnership with FanCode, India’s leading digital sports streaming platform, to bring the 2025–26 T20 Max season to viewers in India and Bangladesh.
The agreement significantly expands the tournament’s global reach and comes on the heels of record-breaking performances in the opening rounds of both the men’s and women’s competitions. FanCode will simulcast select matches previously announced on 7plus Sport, including tonight’s highly anticipated men’s clash between Valley and Sandgate-Redcliffe.
FanCode deal builds on 7plus Sport partnership
Earlier this month, Queensland Cricket confirmed that 17 marquee matches would be broadcast live on 7plus Sport — marking a new era of visibility for grassroots and semi-professional cricket in Australia. The FanCode partnership adds a global layer, making these fixtures accessible to cricket fans across South Asia.
After last night’s 7plus broadcast of Gold Coast v Northern Suburbs was disrupted, an additional TV game has been added: Western Suburbs v Toombul at Ken Mackay Oval on Wednesday night (6pm).
Star power and early fireworks define opening rounds
Tonight’s fixture between Valley and Sandgate-Redcliffe promises fireworks. Valley will be bolstered by Sam Harper, the Melbourne Stars keeper-batter making his debut in the competition. Sandgate-Redcliffe will be led by Mitch Swepson, who also links up with the Stars later this year in the KFC Big Bash League.
Jack Wildermuth, the in-form Valley allrounder, smashed an unbeaten 159 — the competition’s joint-highest score — on Sunday night against Norths.
In the other men’s fixture, South Brisbane take on Wynnum-Manly in a game highlighted by a Sandhu family rivalry: fast bowlers Gurinder and Harmon Sandhu will line up on opposite sides under the lights at Ken Mackay Oval.
Women’s fixtures showcase rising talent and veterans
Tonight’s women’s double-header includes:
University of Queensland v Gold Coast at Alan Pettigrew Oval
Wynnum-Manly v Sandgate-Redcliffe at Geoff Dymock Oval, featuring veteran Elyse Villani
