KNCB to begin CEO search as Lucas Hendrikse set to step down in April 2026
The Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB) has announced that interim CEO Lucas Hendrikse will leave the Federal Office on April 1, 2026, after more than a year of leading the Dutch cricket governing body.
Hendrikse was appointed interim director of the KNCB on December 15, 2024, and has since overseen key operational and strategic developments for the organization. The board has expressed its deep gratitude for his willingness to continue serving through this important transition period.
Recruitment process for new CEO to begin soon
In order to maintain organizational continuity and prepare for the future, the KNCB board has decided to initiate the formal recruitment process for a new CEO. The goal is to have the new appointee in place by early 2026, ensuring a smooth handover and allowing Hendrikse sufficient time to support the onboarding process.
