KP Snacks, Official Partner of The Hundred, has celebrated the renewal of its multi-year partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) by marking a major milestone — the opening of the 100th grassroots community cricket pitch installed through its ‘Everyone In’ initiative.
Celebration at Charlton Park
The landmark was celebrated at Charlton Park in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, where a newly installed all-weather pitch hosted a game featuring cricket stars Kane Williamson, Meg Lanning, Sam Billings, and Charlie Dean. They were joined by singer, presenter, and actor Fleur East, along with former Premier League and England footballer Jermain Defoe.
Since 2022, the ‘Everyone In’ campaign has installed 112 all-weather pitches across England and Wales, providing cricket access to thousands in previously underserved communities. Other Royal Greenwich sites include Avery Hill Park, Eltham Park South, and Hornfair Park.
Driving grassroots cricket participation
KP Snacks and the ECB aim to deliver 1 million opportunities to get active by 2033. Regional installations include 31 pitches in the North of England, 15 in the Midlands, 28 in the South West & Wales, and 26 in London and the South East. These facilities have attracted record numbers of new players since the first pitch was opened in 2022.
The renewal of the partnership follows KP Snacks’ recent move to become the Official Team Partner of England’s men’s, women’s, and disability cricket teams.
Partnership to feature on The Hundred team kits
From the 2026 season of The Hundred, KP Snacks brands — including McCoy’s, Pom-Bear, KP Nuts, and Hula Hoops — will appear on the sleeves of men’s and women’s team kits across all eight franchises.
ECB Commercial Director Alex Perkins praised the partnership’s impact: “Working with KP Snacks on the ‘Everyone In’ campaign, we’ve seen huge uptake of cricket at the all-weather pitches across the country, helping to introduce a whole new generation of fans to our wonderful game.”
Commitment to community impact
KP Snacks Marketing Director Kevin McNair said the initiative has transformed cricket access: “It’s been great to celebrate the landmark of 100 all-weather community pitches, which have made a huge difference to communities. With our renewal as an Official Partner of The Hundred confirmed, we look forward to creating more than 1 million opportunities for people to get active by 2033.”
Councillor Sandra Bauer, Cabinet Member for Equality, Culture and Communities in Royal Greenwich, highlighted the local benefits: “These new artificial wicket facilities will make cricket more accessible to our communities, helping local people get active and inspiring the next generation of cricketers.”
