The Imperial Lions mens team were joined by comedian David Kau, Chef Benny Masekwameng, fanatical fans and proud partners on Tuesday 30 November, in a festive outing that consisted of the refreshed #ThePrideOfJozi Lions Cricket brand experience inclusive of fan engagements, signings and of course, the purchasing of the replica shirt of the current 2020/ 21 CSA 4 Day Franchise Series log toppers.
Lions Cricket Head of Marketing, Commercial and Communications, Wanele Mngomezulu said that the day was a day well spent;
“Interacting with our fans and partners is always memorable – and stepping away from the game is a welcomed break too. The team started at Sportsmans Warehouse Sandton with fans aplenty. We then moved to McDonalds Woodmead for an informative Open-Door session with the fast-food giants. The evening then set in with us at our partner Spier Wine Tasting Room at the Indaba Hotel where we fans were treated to a wine blending session with the Imperial Lions players.
