London Spirit are levelling up their content game.
Cricket District, one of the world’s most popular cricket content creators, has signed an exclusive deal to become London Spirit’s Official Content Partner for the duration of the 2026 edition of The Hundred.
The content producers will collaborate with London Spirit and will have close access to its players and coaching staff throughout the summer in 2026. The collaboration has already started, as founders Toby Marriott and Jack Meacher had exclusive access to coaches and analysts from London Spirit during The Hundred Auction. The collaboration with Cricket District will deliver engaging, behind-the-scenes storytelling, player-driven content and premium matchday coverage, enabling greater opportunity for London Spirit to engage with and grow its fanbase. By harnessing Cricket District’s various social media platforms, London Spirit will be able to reach almost 1.5m followers worldwide, including over 450,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel alone.
Content will focus on a series of major moments for London Spirit in 2026, including the franchise’s kit launch as well as coverage before, during and after the tournament. Cricket District’s agency arm, District Creative, will also be supporting London Spirit’s digital content output throughout the season.
Founded in 2019, Cricket District has become a hugely successful multi-platform media network. The company benefitted from a change in the consumption of cricket by fans as they flocked to digital media to share entertaining cricket content from around the world. Its content spans long-form interviews with modern greats to regular series such as Fastest to Fifty and Village Vs Pro, as well as post-match reactions and in-depth insights with players and coaches from elite to recreational levels of the game. In June 2025, the company launched its first off-field cricket clothing range, Absolute Badger.
Toby Marriott, founder of Cricket District, said: “We are delighted to partner with London Spirit this summer. As the most valuable franchise in The Hundred, and the team that calls Lord’s its home, there were always going to be some fascinating, fun and engaging stories to tell, but now we’ve seen the two squads, we are even more excited to get started. This is a great opportunity for us to increase our access to elite talent, connect with our community in London and to be part of a historic year at Lord’s.”
Katie Maier, Chief Marketing Officer, MCC & London Spirit, said: “We are thrilled to bring Toby and his Cricket District team on board for our first year handling digital operations for London Spirit. Their immense innovation is matched by the exceptional reach of their platforms. This new partnership, a first for Cricket District, MCC and London Spirit, is indicative of the high ambitions this franchise has to maximise its fanbase both in the UK and around the world.”
