Prime Video has launched its latest campaign, Go Full Cricket, featuring Australian captain and Prime Video Australia ambassador Pat Cummins. The campaign arrives just in time for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, set to begin on Wednesday, 19 February.
In collaboration with Cummins, the campaign unfolds through a series of six playful, paparazzi-style adverts. These humorous clips offer fans a behind-the-scenes look at Cummins’ cricket-obsessed life off the field—whether he’s practicing his sweep shot with a rolled-up newspaper or rehearsing sledges in the bathroom mirror. Packed with cricket references, the campaign captures the spirit and tradition of the game.
The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 marks the tournament’s return after an eight-year hiatus. Hosted by Pakistan and the UAE, the 15-match event will feature the world’s top ODI teams competing for the coveted Champions Trophy white jackets.
The competition kicks off with Pakistan facing New Zealand on 19 February, while marquee clashes include Australia vs. England on 22 February and Pakistan vs. India in Dubai on 23 February. The tournament will conclude with the Final on 9 March.
Prime Video is the exclusive broadcaster of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 in Australia, with all matches streaming live at 8:00 PM AEDT. For fans who miss the action, Prime Video offers 10- or 25-minute highlights, full match replays, and a ‘rapid recap’ feature—an innovation that delivers key moments for viewers joining late.
Alexandra Gilbert, Head of Prime Video Content Australia and New Zealand, praised Cummins’ role in the campaign: “Fresh from leading Australia to victory in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Pat Cummins has excelled in his debut role as Prime Video ambassador, spearheading our latest cricket campaign.”
She added, “We’re bringing Australian cricket fans all ICC major events exclusively on Prime Video through 2027, and the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy will be hugely entertaining to watch.”
Cummins himself shared his excitement,“I had a lot of fun working with the Prime Video team to create these ads to support the return of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy. This year’s tournament will no doubt be full of drama, and with every match live at 8 PM AEDT, it’s easy to watch along, live and exclusive on Prime Video in Australia.”
Prime Video remains a premier destination for sports content, offering exclusive coverage of all ICC events until 2027, including the Men’s and Women’s Cricket World Cups, T20 World Cups, Champions Trophy, U19 World Cups, and the World Test Championship Final.
